We are very blessed to have TERRELL THOMPSON who answered the call for our Minister of Music in November of 2024. He works very hard with applying his many talents to meet the challenges with our changing in-person and online music ministry schedule.
Terrell Thompson has played and worked with many choirs over the years. He was a youth director for 12 years and the music director for the Westbrook Green Concert Choir for 5 years. He has performed on stage, and he currently sings with two local St Louis choruses with whom he has been associated for over 5 years.
Terrell studied piano as his primary instrument and vocals for his secondary major at Eastern Illinois University and SIU-Edwardsville. He is also a piano teacher during summer camps for different organizations.
Mr. Thompson is proud to be at All Saints and Ascension to share his gifts and talents as the Minister of Music.
Choir

The All Saints and Ascension Choir has grown in the past few years, but is looking to increase its membership even more. Adding additional voices to the ensemble will give us the flexibility to plan more frequent special music and increase our involvement as we move into the future together. It is not necessary to have a wonderful voice.
Joy and enthusiasm are the only requirements! If you love to sing, we would love to have you regardless of your musical background. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the parish office.

Andrea Hunter’s last day as Music Director was June 3, 2018 whereby we celebrated her service to our parish. The following thank you card was received from Andrea and her family. Please note the drawing of exchanging “The Peace” from 4 year old Bree (her favorite part of the service). She drew herself on the far right and specifically wants everyone to know that the person next to her is Walter Fox.
Whatever Happened to Hal McGhee?
Many of you from All Saints will also remember our former choir director, Hal McGhee. In July 2018, Hal emailed the parish just to say hi, and express his fond memories of our annual picnic. He is currently living in Libertyville, IL and actively attends St. Lawrence Episcopal Church.
