One of the basic missions at All Saints and Ascension is to serve the Lord by being connected to the larger community.  We have a long and proud history of community involvement.  And many hands are involved in our outreach ministries.  This year, we continue to focus on making a positive difference to people living in local communities.  This includes sponsoring a community picnic by personally inviting people in the immediate neighborhood to participate in worship, food, fun activities, and health screenings.   Several members of our parish also participate with the Dismantling Racism Commission at the Diocese of Missouri in programs that strive to reverse conditions that divides us.

Also, the parish chapter of the Episcopal Church Women sponsor several activities that support both parish outreach to the community, as well as in-reach within our parish family.  Programs include Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and Breakfast with Santa for the neighborhood children.
